Imagining the future without the many wonderful natural, cultural, and historic treasures we now enjoy is unthinkable. We have to stop saying "There used to be." That’s one of the many reasons why Tourism Cares exists: to help all people recognize that we must treasure and protect what exists today so that future generations can enjoy them, too.

Tourism Cares recognizes that for worldwide travel to be pleasurable, informative, fulfilling, and safe in the future, steps must be taken today to preserve and conserve today’s treasures for tomorrow and educate the future leaders of the industry.
