Imagine if the wonderful sites that you visit when you travel began to disappear; if the very reasons why you travel – to see, to do, to experience different cultures and places, were diminished or completely gone. Tourism Cares believes that it is up to everyone to take steps to ensure that these reasons why we travel will be there for future generations. That is why Tourism Cares has created a worldwide initiative called Save Our Sites.

Save Our Sites invites the travel industry and travel enthusiasts to help sites around the world that need our immediate help. Four times per year, a number of projects vetted by Tourism Cares are highlighted as opportunities that need our positive impact. The public is invited to learn about each particular project and designate their contributions to the sites they feel are deserving of funding to assist with much-needed renovation and rehabilitation projects.
